- Buy less water by the
bottle- it's very expensive and wastes a huge amount of
energy to bring it to you.
- Town water- certified pure
by state requirements- cost about 30 cents for hundred
gallons. Bottled water costs more than $250 for the same
amount.
-
- Also- the bottle is made
from oil, and the bottle-maker, the bottler; the delivery
truck, and the store all spend extra energy to bring it
to you. When you finish it takes more energy to take it
to a landfill or recycle it.
- If you don't like the taste
of town water or worry about contaminants you can buy a
kitchen tap filter or a filtering pitcher for less than
$30. Each inexpensive replaceable filter in either of
them makes 100 gallons of water with 99.7% of any
remaining impurities of town certified water removed.
That's 800 bottles of water

- Remember- you don't know
where the bottled water came from and it is not
government certified pure.
